I am a member of any political party that put food on the tables – CS Solomon Alao


The Supreme Head, Cherubim & Seraphim Unification of Nigeria, His Most Eminence, Prophet, Dr. Solomon Alao, has said that he is a member of any political party that can give Nigerians security that can put food on the tables of all Nigerians.

Baba Olori, as he was fondly called made at the Faith Mission Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria 2018 Adult Anniversary Thanksgiving Service in Satellite Town Lagos.


While charging the congregation to take their future into their hands ahead of the 2019 General Election, he urged Nigerians to vote their conscience and calls for the restructuring of Nigeria. In the words, “We need to restructure this country in order to have peace, a union that is forged under falsehood cannot last.

“I am a member of any political party that can give Nigerians security that can put food on the tables of all Nigerians,” he said.

It was a coming together of notable names from the Business, Political, Religious, Traditional rulers and the entertainment sector of the country under one roof as Notable personalities from the political, business and the clergy were part of the great 2018 Adult Harvest and Thanksgiving Ceremony lead Her Eminence Prophet Dr. Marian Adeleye Akinjogunla, the President and Founder of the church.. Some of them were Hon. Ibrahim Obanikoro, Mrs. Folashade Wright, Idowu Phillips a.k.a Iya Rainbow, Iyaloja General Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo. In her welcome address, Dr. Akinjogunla said : “It is indeed my pleasure to happily welcome you all to our 30th Anniversary Harvest Thanksgiving service which is a precursor to our hosting of the Annual General Conference 2019.

“Our Thanksgiving service which holds every 3rd week in November epitomizes Faith Mission C&S Church adherence of tradition and obedience to our affiliation to the praying band,” she said. She expressed her profound gratitude to everyone who made the anniversary a success and reserved special praise for her daughter and Deputy Primate, Dr. Oluwaseye ‘Yomi-Sholoye for her tireless efforts at making the event a success. “I want to thank my children who through Dr. Yomi-Sholoye have been of tremendous assistance to the cause of our dear church, their tireless efforts and sacrifice is the result of what we are seeing today.

“Many thanks also go to the 2018 Harvest Committee and the chairman. Special Apostle Isaac Adegbenro and Vice Chairperson Snr Apostle Mother Adegbenro for graciously deciding to lead in this capacity,” she espoused. She also used the occasion to thank the management of the wing of the women of Faith Mission C&S Church for living up to their billing and for being magnificent. “Internally, the Youth Fellowship, the Good Women Council, the Bands as well as our ever-increasing parishes have met their 2018 objectives. “The elders in Council under the leadership and guidance of our Baba Alakoso, His Grace Akindele Afinjuomo who have been tremendous in giving full support to us,” she added. The glorious thanksgiving ceremony led by Senior Apostle C. Agbewhe started with a Processional Hymn while a beautiful choir introit took place immediately after. A star-studded line-up of Gospel Musical Artistes led by Evangelist Biyi Samuel, the Igi Aruwe crooner, were on hand to treat the congregation to spirit-filled gospel music.

In his sermon and the preacher His Grace Dr. S.A.O Adeoye of the Progressive International C&S Church treated the theme judiciously as he took the congregation on a Spirit-filled journey into the word of God.

In a bid to appreciate the preacher, Deputy Primate, on behalf of the church, presented a special gift to the preacher saying, “We want to appreciate our preacher in our own little way, we say a very big thank you Sir and may the good Lord continue to uphold him,” she prayed. The highpoint of the event was the thanksgiving ceremony as invited guests of honor all filed out one after the other to honor God with their substance.

It was such a glorious occasion as it became a melting point for all the invited guests who came from different walks of life to celebrate with the prominent woman of God; Top politicians, Business Executives, Religious leaders from both Christianity and the Islamic divide, entertainers and traditional rulers all came together putting aside their religious and political affiliations for one cause to celebrate with Dr. Akinjogunla and Dr. Yomi-Sholoye.

It was a befitting climax to a glorious ceremony and the icing on the cake was the announcement that the 2019 Annual General Conference which will be hosted by Faith Mission between January 31st and February 2nd, 2019 will be held at Golden Tulip Hotels, Festac which promises to have all trappings of civilized atmosphere for decision making and celebrations.
